Voted ‘Best Clothing Designer’ in the 2006- 2009 Austin Chronicle Readers’ Poll, Chia has long since been an Austin favorite with her fearless colorful adult and children’s clothing and accessories.

This super stylish yet eco-friendly designer always keeps her heart close to preserving the environment while celebrating fashion; using the best fabrics from decades past assures that each piece is one of a kind while being kind to the environment.

Featured in publications ranging from Elle, Tattoos for Women, Parent’s Magazine, and most recently in W Magazine (in a spread photographed by Jurgen Teller) Chia continues to reach a wider national audience. Her work is carried in many cities including Seattle, Brooklyn, Vancouver, San Francisco and Austin. Grace ManleyGrace Manley

I am a recent fashion design graduate from Incarnate Word's fashion program. My style of design fluctuates a lot as my inspirations do as well. Usually, I find that I like to take a darker theme or the unexpected and bring out the beauty in it through fashion. My favorite thing to do is create wearable art, anything that is crazy and innovative, yet aesthetically pleasing.

AO09-fashion-BrandiBautelBrandi Bautel - Maris Rae Handbags

About five years ago, my husband bought me my first sewing machine. I didn't request one. ..goodness, I didn't even know how to thread one! I had never sewn before(which is absolutely unbelievable to me today, considering my passion for design and fasion now!), but he knew I had a creative mind and thought I might like one. I'm ashamed to say that it sat in the box for a couple months before I was brave enough to take it out and attempt to make anything. Once I started, I couldn't stop! I found the fact that I could MAKE something so unique and functional with only fabric and thread utterly exciting! My main focus from the beginning has been handbags, and I have worked very hard to design and produce a quality handbag to be proud of. While living in upstate New York in 2006, I began my line, Maris Rae Handbags, and my sister started helping me sew to meet demand. We pride ourselves on the quality of sewing and hard work we put into each bag and accessory. Maris Rae is my Momma's name. She has always whole-heartedly supported me in any endeavor I choose to tackle, never telling me I was dreaming too big or trying to achieve the unachievable.

Hi! I'm Miss Amberry Jam. I studied fashion and costume design for several years and used those skills to start my own business, making special order one of a kind outfits and accessories (with a large focus on hats). Working with lots of people who knew they wanted something (but weren't sure what that was) motivated me to start a new line of ready to wear hats as well: www.Classic-Harlequin.com Check it out, because EVERYONE looks good in a top hat.
